First Annual Urban Green Camping Trip

This past weekend, several UG households traveled to Miquelon Lake Provincial Park for our first annual camping trip.  Despite the cold temps and the blue algae in the lake, we had a fabulous time.  Here are a few photos to document the trip:

Great news, everyone. We’ve purchased land in the Old Strathcona neighbourhood and our dream is moving one step closer to reality. We will be stepping up our membership recruitment so we can start thinking about developing the site. We estimate we will need another 15 to 20 families to move forward.
